I’m Guillermo Walsen, and I’ve been flying since 2018. I learned paragliding during a motorbike trip across America with my dog, Leufu, starting and learning in Ecuador. However, I truly honed my skills in the Cauca Valley of Colombia, a place I always return to. I’ve always been into sports, and I also practice professional whitewater kayaking, trying to balance my time between flying and kayaking. I enjoy various activities like fishing and mountaineering, but what I love most when I travel is meeting locals. They are the ones who know their local flying site best and will show you all the hidden gems and tips of the area. This passion led me to create Local Paragliding, where I share the thrill of flying with the best local pilots and showcase the local community. I’m also a videomaker, and I love creating content for others, so on each trip, you’ll have a video to cherish forever!
